About

nuloq is a personal blog that chronicles a day in Korea. Centered on daily news briefings and culture and entertainment analysis, it is published in seven languages so readers in and outside Korea can quickly grasp what is happening in Korea today.

The writing falls into two broad areas: daily news briefings that piece together the day’s major stories from several sources, and culture and entertainment analysis that reads the performance and context of film, TV, and music through data. Rather than merely summarizing the news, it aims for original analysis that adds context, interpretation of the numbers, comparison, and outlook on top of publicly available facts.

Posts are written from data and public sources, and the sources they rely on are cited. Research, writing, and translation are assisted by AI, and whenever an error in a fact or figure is found after publication, the text is corrected and updated.
